The COVID-19 lockdown has brought it home to us how much we value face-to-face meetups and chats with partners and customers. He will outline a number of solutions that employers could adopt, examine how they respond to their workforce’s different transport-related needs, and demonstrate ways in which companies could make the shift to sustainable mobility.

II) Why choose eTarif? Digital fares – opportunities and use cases 

The kilometre-based eTarif is a customer-driven solution that does away with surcharges when travelling between different fare alliance zones. For public transport providers, technical implementation is easy. For passengers, they no longer have to waste time working out the right fare zone or waste money on ticket supplements. Paula Ruoff will present the latest findings from the roll-out of the eTarif solution in Göttingen (GöVB), and the development of two eTarif pilot projects in Rhein-Sieg Kreis (VRS) and Munich (MVV). The webinar is also a chance for you to discover how customers, fare alliances and public transport providers have reacted to eTarif changes and experiences with this digital solution to date.
