Hybrid working and flexible schedules mean traditional commuting benefits no longer reflect how many employees travel.
Fixed public transport passes, company cars and parking schemes often don't accommodate different travel needs or working patterns.
Many organisations are looking for ways to support lower-emission travel while offering attractive employee benefits.
Administering budgets, reimbursements and eligibility rules often requires significant manual effort and provides limited visibility into spending.
The FAIRTIQ Employee Mobility Budget enables organisations to provide flexible public transport benefits without the complexity of managing tickets or reimbursements.
Employers define the budget and travel policies, while employees simply travel using the FAIRTIQ app.
A straightforward process for employers and employees
Choose a monthly or annual budget for your employees.
Employees install the FAIRTIQ app and activate their mobility budget using a personal code.
Employees use the mobility budget with one swipe and can track their remaining budget directly in the app.
You are invoiced only for journeys that are actually taken — no unused budgets or upfront costs.

Everything you need to know about employee mobility
The FAIRTIQ employee mobility budget enables organisations to provide public transport as an employee benefit. Employers define a mobility budget, and employees travel using the FAIRTIQ app. Journey costs are automatically deducted from the available budget based on actual travel.
Employees activate their mobility budget in the FAIRTIQ app using a personal activation code. Once activated, eligible journeys are automatically deducted from the available budget, and employees can view their remaining balance directly in the app.
Once the company-funded budget is exhausted, employees can continue travelling with the FAIRTIQ app using their own payment method. There's no need to switch apps or purchase a separate ticket.
Yes. Organisations can configure mobility budgets and define eligibility and usage rules to align the benefit with their mobility policies and employee programmes.
