Never think about swiping again
Start of FAIRTIQ Go market test
Travel by public transport - with no swipe
With FAIRTIQ Go, simply hop on board and travel

To mark our 10th anniversary, we are testing a new function in Switzerland known as Be-In/Be-Out (BIBO). The idea behind it: FAIRTIQ automatically recognizes when you are travelling by public transport and issues you a valid ticket - no need to swipe to start or end your journey.
The function is currently in a closed beta test phase. This means that the function is not yet fully developed and is being refined together with selected users.
For this, we are looking for you: as a beta test user, you will try out the function in everyday life and help us to further improve it with your feedback. Your input will flow directly into further development before the feature is rolled out more extensively.
For you, this means less stress, more convenience and the opportunity to actively help shape the future of FAIRTIQ.

What is FAIRTIQ Go?
"FAIRTIQ Go" is the name of the Be-In/Be-Out function, which is currently in the test phase.
With FAIRTIQ Go, the app automatically recognizes when you are travelling on public transport and issues you a valid ticket. No need to swipe to start or end your journey.
Will I no longer have to swipe in future?
With the "FAIRTIQ Go" Be-in/Be-out function, manual swiping can be completely eliminated in future so that travelers can benefit from the full GA comfort. The function will remain optional for users. If you would prefer to travel using manual swiping after the introduction of FAIRTIQ Go, you can do so.
Please note that the function is still in the beta test phase. If you are selected for the test phase, you will receive more instructions by e-mail.
How is my privacy protected?
Data protection remains central.
The check as to whether a public transport journey is taking place is carried out directly on your smartphone. Only if a journey is clearly identified, the data required for billing is safely transmitted to FAIRTIQ.
Does the function affect my battery?
The function has been developed in such a way that it is suitable for daily use and does not put excessive strain on the battery.
Who is behind the test phase?
FAIRTIQ Go is being developed and tested in close cooperation with an alliance of ten Swiss transport companies.
These include Appenzeller Bahnen, AVA, BSU, RBS, RhB, RVBW, TPF, VBL, VB/TPB und Zugerland Verkehrsbetriebe.
Together, we are driving forward the next generation of digital ticketing.
Who can take part in the test phase?
The test phase starts with a limited group in Switzerland.
Selected participants will be informed by e-mail.
If you are not included this time, you will be included in the pool for later test phases.
Does participation cost me anything?
No.
As before, with FAIRTIQ you only pay for what you actually travel on public transport. There are no additional costs or season tickets.
